ABBAmart Concealer In Medium

#SweetCoverage
For the first time, I'll be reviewing a non-lippie product. Behold, a cheap concealer I got from Althea, ABBAmart in the shade, medium! Actually there were only 2 shades. One was light and one was...well, medium. I tend to pick the darkest shade when it comes to Korean products. They have really pale colors for foundation and concealer, since I guess most of Korean women I've seen or met seem to be very fair.

How cute is this packaging? Hihi

It's a creamy, balm type concealer with light to medium coverage. I was looking for something to cover my dark eyebags and chin dark spots (from hormonal breakouts) without breaking the bank. For 140 PhP, this felt like a steal. Here's how it did on me:

One swipe on my tanned skin

Blended easily into my NC37 skin

No makeup (hello, dark spots)

Concealer on eyebags and chin

With full office makeup
        (After 8 hours)

Love it! It said on the description that it has lavender extract to help acne and whatnot heal. The only thing it doesn't do for me is to make my bags less puffy and make it plump. I know it looks a bit too light on my face at first, but trust me, it blends well with my foundation. I also like to apply things with a light hand, so you'll see some of the spots showing a bit. What this does is to brighten the dark areas and bring some warmth into them (I detect warm peachy undertones here). I might buy something else in the future but for now I'm happy with this cheeky and handy concealer. Big thumbs up!

Color: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Packaging: 4/5
Smell: 4/5
Price: 5/5

Verdict: 4.2/5 Donuts
I highly recommend for people who just need concealer for discoloration and nothing else. It does the job of blending your dark spots into your skin tone. Might be tricky to buy since there are only 2 shades. If it doesn't match, at least your wallet won't cry. In the future when this runs out, I wanna to try concealers from Maybelline, Nars, and the Face Shop.

Reco for other cheap Korean concealers? Lemme know!

Peripera Peri's Ink The Velvet In 006 Celeb Deep Rose

#SweetLippies It's been a while and I have huge batches of skincare and makeup to review! Believe me when I say I hoard lippies. I always have at least 5 in my makeup bag (ha, and a skinnier wallet 'cos of this.) I'm currently obssessed with Kbeauty and skincare right now!  Here's my swatch of Peri's Ink The Velvet in Celeb Deep Rose: One full swipe on top, gradient on bottom This was taken in natural lighting without filters. This was advertised as an MLBB shade. But at first swipe, it's not so subtle. It wasn't a nude (or brown-toned) pink like I expected. It swatches pretty orange-red on my skin tone, which is naturally tanned or  morena. I had myself swatched recently and found out my MAC foundation shade, NC35. The consistency is creamy but very pigmented and matte. It then settles into this lovely and wearable medium coral pink shade.  One swipe                     Applied a second time at center Wearing only li...

NYX Lip Lingerie - Embellishment

#SweetLippies Hello ! It's my first beauty review. I've always longed to start my own beauty blog,  yada yada yada, long backstory. I 'll save it for the next post. As a lippie addict, I thought it'd be great to start with my most recent purchase,  NYX Lip Lingerie in the shade, Embellishment.  Here's some product shots and swatches: Already in love with the color This is a donut beauty blog, might as well make a donut swatch! Heheheplsdon'tleave It goes on matte and light, plus it dries quickly I love it on my lips! It feels a bit dry on my lips, but it's nothing a little lip balm can't handle.  I can see why they call it "lingerie." It feels light, as if my lips were almost naked (well, DUH). Meanwhile, the color payoff is gorgeous! Just one swipe needed. I really wanted a pinkish, lilac, gray-ish lippie that won't wash me out - my lips are a bit ashy, while my skin is  beig...
